The pop star and her longtime friend, who is currently living with her, were all smiles as they browsed for lighting fixtures in West Hollywood on Monday.
Avril, 31, invited Ryan, 33, to move into her Los Angeles home after her ex-husband, Nickelback singer Chad Kroeger, moved out in September.

The Sk8er Boi singer appeared to be in a good mood, flashing a big smile as she chatted with Ryan in the store.
Avril and Chad, 41, announced in September they had separated after two years of marriage.Both have recently had health issues, with Avril suffering from Lyme Disease and Chad developing a vocal cord cyst that forced his band to cancel their tour.
The singers have since been spotted spending time together around LA, including a trip to a pumpkin patch and long dinner dates.

On Monday, Avril wore her blonde hair down in natural curls as the pair browsed for lighting fixtures.
The Canadian singer wore a sheer, black skeleton blouse that showed her red sports bra underneath.
She added frayed denim shorts, grey shearling boots with buckles, and round, reflective 1960s-style sunglasses.

Former Rubix Groove singer Ryan went for a black Tshirt that showed off his many tattoos.
He also wore camouflage pants rolled up at the ankles over grey Vans slip-ons.
The pair, who have reportedly been friends for more than a decade, have not confirmed whether or not they are dating.

Before her marriage to Chad, Avril was wed to Sum 41 rocker Deryck Whibley from 2006 until 2010.
